Me and My Girls

Wednesday night me and some of my girls went out for my birthday dinner. I always just love going out for dinner with friends. #1 I don't have to cook. #2 I don't have to clean. #3 I don't have to bargin my friend to eat dinner. #4 We all laugh and act like we are 16 again. #5 It just helps me breath (whatever that means). So we went to Red Robin and had a Bonzai Burger (I refer to it as a party in my mouth, but the waitress has trouble deciding what that is so I just say Bonzai Burger). So Christina I have known for 9 years now. I started working at Target Pharmacy as a second job while Terry was in school. This is where I met her. I just have to tell you at first sight and shortly after I just couldn't stand her. You see Christina's personality is to help those in need. And when you start a new job you are in need. Well I took it offensivly but later got over it. Now we are great friends and I depend on her alot for this's and thats. She is always one of those friends bringing dinner over when my back hurts or Dr. Peppers when she can sense I NEED them.Tonja and I have been friends since I started dating Terry which was 13 years ago. I really didn't like her either. You see she was Troy's (Terrys Brother) girlfriend of like 4 years at the time. So she obviously knew everything about Terry and I just seemed to be stepping in on her party (So I thought). Ya she is gorgous and I out weighed her by like 50 pounds. She always has her hair just perfect and makes everyone laugh. So of course once I got over my own insecurities we also became great friends. Some one I can tell anything to and she will never judge my actions or thoughts. Very honest and very dependable. She is pregnant with her 5th baby and she handles it just like a pro with no whining. Jen (on the right) is a Little Ceasar's friend so that will tell you it was a while ago that I meet her. You guessed it I didn't like her either. Once again she was so stinking cute and always was dressed to die for even when we were working with gross pizza. But somewhere in all the Ceasar confusion her and I became friends. So that was back in 1991, holy crow that was 17 years ago. Crazy how time flies. She is a friend that we weren't the best of staying in contact through our first few married years. But whenever we would talk it was like we didn't miss a beat. Then I moved to AF and we became closer, well not closer we just hung out and talked more. I just love Jens funny personality. A little paranoid about everything under the sun, also including the sun. But she is fun to listen to and talk with.

Holly (on the left)Holly, Holly, where do I ever start. Holly has been my friend since the 3rd grade and I don't even know how many years ago that was. But her and I just hit it off. And even though we went through different seasons in our life... I have always considered her one of my first best friends. Holly does the craziest stuff and says stuff that just makes you laugh out loud. Holly has 5 beautiful children and so obviously we don't get together as much as I would like to. She also just moved out to Eagle Mountain which is slightly inconvient when I have a car that gets 10 miles per gallon. I love to be anywhere with Holly even stranded in the wilderness with a flat tire. She is the life of all parties, you just have to get her away from her kids and watchout she lets loose. It's a good thing she never drank, she would be one loose cannon. Well all of my friends are very dear to me. I value the friends I have, I just hope I can be as good of a friend to them as they are to me. Thank you so much to all my friends that put up with me on a daily base or monthly. I love you all and I love the memories we have. Thanks again for giving me a hand when I need it. Because I know I could never pull this life off on my own. So here is a cheer to good friends. So even if I didn't like you at the first. Just know I got over my own issues and I just love each of you to pieces. I hope we never give up on our friendship. And thank you to all your husbands for letting you go hang with me. I know I am not the best influence, so thank you.

Oh Bonzai Burger! Totally my favorite ever. I have never yet refered to it as a party in my mouth, but that sounds like a pretty good description. by the way, after reading about all your friends I'm worried if you didn't like me at first.

I love Red Robin burgers...and fries...and drinks! I'm so glad you were spoiled and adored. Hooray for friends! (So, I'm dying to know...did you not like me at the beginning? I take a little getting used to.) Happy belated birthday!
