Kate's Birthday

Today is a special day it is the day my oldest sister was born. I just have to say Kate you are so special to me. Thank you for being such an inspiring person. I feel completely privileged to be your sister. I know you have had to put up with alot from me over the years. Like when you were baptized and I tried to steal the show by being blessed on your day. How about all the times I stole your gum and coins when I was to small to understand it was yours and not mine? I still owe you for taking me to Georgia and showing me the East Coast. I cherish those memories you shared with me. I hope you have a wonderful birthday and if you have extra time tomorrow I would love to see you or maybe join you for lunch.

So my dad is finally mending. He has had a hard road but I went to see him today and man he looks so good. Well you know for someone who just had surgery 2 weeks ago. It just feels good to see him up and walking around a little.

Saturday we went boating and it was super choppy so I didn't feel bad for reading my book. Yes I was completely lost in my Breaking Dawn which is the 4th book of the Twilight series. I started on Friday and I read really slow so I can enjoy it and not miss anything. But just so you know I did finish it Sunday morning! And yes I loved it! So after reading/boating we got some movies ate dinner and chilled. Then Sunday we had to go sight in Terry's bow and so all took turns shooting our bows just above Cabella's. And of course we couldn't be that close to Cabella's and not stop by for a visit. So we went and watched the fish get fed and we shared a hamburger from their eatery. This was the first time we have eatten there. Not the best but fun anyway. Then we visited mom and dad on the way home and then we finally broke down and got the WII for the kids. They have been working to earn the WII for 8 months now and they finally got it. I can not tell you how excited they are to finally have the WII. After on the way home we decided to stop at Krispy Kreme. I know this sounds like a sin but we have never experienced a full on Krispy Kreme donut. My dear friend Sally who I miss deeply brought me a dozen donuts from there and I remembered loving them. However it is completely different just like she said it would be just fresh out of the oven. Ya I think I will be taking both preschools there for a fieldtrip this year. I know I am evil. But wow was it good.

Then we got home and my neighbor called and said the class lists were posted so I went to check it out. Matia has Mr. Engles with our neighbor/friend Asha. Bowdee has Mrs. Barton with Izak. So they were pretty excited about those classes. If you know anything about either of these teachers please inform us. I have no clue as to what to expect. Ya know it just makes me think how critical a good teacher is. They can make or break a childs full year of learning experience. I sure hope all the kids in my class are excited about their teacher. I promise to do my best. Well summer is almost over only one short week left.

Sounds like a great weekend! We'll have to get Kayden and Treg together to play the Wii. Kayden is addicted!

If you need volunteers on your field trip to Krispi Creme just let me know :o) It would be a sacrifice but I would try and manage (ha ha).

And.. I am so happy your Dad is doing much better! He truly is Superman!

Also I can't give you any feedback on your kids teachers.. I'm still looking for some for mine..
